DSEK launches website of Rainawari Zone | KNO

Director School Education Kashmir, G. N. Itoo today launched the website for Rainawari Zone which shall provide instant information to the teachers as well student community in a user-friendly interface. The website (www.zeorainawari.com) is a joint venture of DSEK and NGO Pratham. The website was launched on the concluding day of a training programme titled ‘Modern Concept of Education’ which was divided into three parts for the teachers of the Rainawari Zone. The programme was attended by Deputy Director News Radio Kashmir Srinagar, Principal DIET, Deputy CEO Education, ZEO Rainawari and other concerned. The Director School Education said such programmes will be initiated in the different parts of the Kashmir Division as well. He said such programmes are aimed at expanding the mental horizon of students. He said a good chunk of teachers and students would be sent on a study tour outside the State for cultural exchange in the winter months. The Director appealed to parents to admit their wards in government-run schools so that they can avail benefits under various state and centrally sponsored schemes. Later, he distributed certificates and mementoes among participants.
